The picture was drawn as a present for the teachers of the "Gymnasium Vohwinkel", Nyrina's former secondary school. "Voh" derives from the german "Fuchs" (Fox), which explains why there are so many foxes in this picture. Most of the other stuff was inspired by Nyrina's ideas and my own schooldays.

Oooh ja! DAS Geschenkpapier, ich weiß genau, welches du meinst (auch ohne Link). Ein Ausschnitt davon hängt an der Tür zum Büro meiner Eltern und ich gehe am Tag ungefähr tausendmal daran vorbei. Ja, es ist durchaus ein Grund, warum ich mich überhaupt an solchen Bücherbildern versucht habe, auch wenn das - soweit ich mich erinnern kann - eher unbewusst geschah.
Freut mich aber unheimlich, dass du das Bild trotzdem magst. Allerdings hat mich dein Kommentar dazu angehalten, mal ernsthaft darüber nachzudenken, ob ich das offiziell als Inspirationsquelle im Artist's comment angeben sollte...
